ABOUT ME

The constant feature in my work is the exploration of the often conflicting relationship between nature and the manufactured environment.
I draw inspiration from a wide range of places: city centre streets to Mediterranean coastlines; countryside paths to the architecture of modern buildings.
As a mixed media practitioner within textiles, I investigate the properties and qualities of natural and synthetic materials, juxtaposing, combining and assembling them to consider how the natural world can quite literally be brought inside the interior urban space, to give
